Jeni Indwar

Jeni grew up in Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. She joined New Learning Centre in 2024, after completing her Masters in Education from TISS. She is committed to challenging educational inequalities and currently anchors the formal education access program. She loves to cook, write stories and poems, and make new friends. 

Shreya Khemani

Shreya is a teacher and an activist. She believes in the transformative power of education, and is one of the founding members of New Learning Centre. She draws strength from working with children, and loves to swim in  the sea.

Rekha Verma

Rekha has been a part of New Learning Centre since 2023. She anchors the admin and logistics at the centre, and is also in charge of nutrition. She loves to laugh, feed people, and learn new things.

Chanchal has been a teacher for 12 years. She joined the working group of New Learning Centre in 2025, and has been a member of its advisory board since it's inception. She is currently running the library program, nurturing a love for books among students. She likes to travel, swim and read.
